Cancer--it has affected everyone's family at some point. In November of 2020 my grandma was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of Leukemia. She was given weeks to live. This series of photographs explores my feelings and how I dealt with the news. 

A 35mm film camera was used to create the images and the slight fuzziness creates the feeling of looking back at memories and how we can not remember them fully every time. This series offers the viewer a vulnerable glimpse into how I processed my grief.
